Sparse MDD Plugin for VNyan

The Sparse MDD plugin is a VNyan tool to help you easily set up MDD animations on a model, which have been pruned to keep the model file manageable. Full MDD animations can cause a vtuber model's file size to bloat to a point where it becomes unusable, especially on high-poly models or with longer animations. The Sparse MDD plugin helps you easily, flexibly, and intuitively set up and play MDD animations where blend shapes have been pruned to keep the files workable.

The animation parameters can be configured through the plugin UI or through VNyan's node system. Simply load in a model with blend shapes configured for the plugin, set the animation parameters, and call the animation with a trigger.

To add the plugin to VNyan, simply download the zip-file and extract the files to the Vnyan/Items/Assemblies folder. Make sure 3rd party plugins are enabled in VNyan's Settings>Misc menu. For detailed instructions on how to configure your model for use with the plugin, see the github page.
